Weekend Preview: Binghamton
Coming off of a season sweep of UMBC over the past two weekends and going 9-0 over that span, we take on conference rival Binghamton this weekend. The defending regular season champion Bearcats typically play us very tough and we look for another weekend of solid competition. They are coming off of a sweep of Hartford last weekend and have won 12 of their last 15 games. Led by pitcher Mike Augliera who is 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA over 24 innings in conference play as well as by hitter Dave Ciocchi who is hitting .358 with 4 HR and 26 RBI.
Games this weekend will be played at Dowling College due to continued construction on Joe Nathan Field.
