Agility and Conditioning (Ladder, HotSpot Training, Sled Pulls)

Some Video of our Speed training/ Conditioning from Friday. First video is some ladder work to get loose. The second video is a combination of the rest of the workout. Starts with a shuffle hurdle series done for a min as fast as possible. Then we went on to a pro agility cone workout 3 times through using the hot spots to time how fast we went. Third in the video is another hot spot timed exercise. A combined shuffle out sprint back sprint out to third spot. At the end of the video is some sled pulls full court, done 6 times each.

  3. Hey guys. I am the inventor of hotspot and a fellow Seawolf (tennis 02-06). Looks good what you guys are doing but may I add a few details that will help in a) using the system and b) your speed. When you change at a dot keep your centre of mass over the inside leg and use the dot as "tap and go" this will allow you to be quicker out of the change and not move the dot. Hope this helps and keep up the good work!

  4. Hey thanks for the tips mike. The hotspot training was great. One thing about it is that the footing would pop off on certain times, maybe because we hit them hard, but if anything about them could be tweaked it would be that. Other than that it was a fun day of training. We actually just started an apparel company that is about dedication and getting better, maybe we could help promote each other, let me know our email is NOS_12@yahoo.com
